An average of seven hours of sunlight daily enables the fruit to reach a level of ripeness such that polymerization of the tannins begins within the berry while it is still on the vine.

Tasting Note

Deep ruby in color, this rich red starts off with hints of violet in an intense, complex, inky bouquet replete with plum and blackberries, r... (more...)ed fruit jam, spices and bay leaves. Velvety in the mouth, the wine has a mellow approachable structure backed by sweet tannins and a long, spicy licorice finish.
