Beckman Grenache - 2007
February 01, 2010
The whole is better than the sum of the parts here. This cuvée, which is a 90 point Parker wine!, is a real winner. Not too strong to pair with cheeses, white beans, and fish (as a 100% Syrah might have been) and yet more subtle and less acidic than a white which traditionally would have been the option. A real find.

Delicious, jammy, Santa Ynez Rhone blend- without being the slightest bit over the top. Grenache is such a delicious grape- lighter than a straight Syrah- and was perfectly paired with a Greek dinner at Evvia. Yum.
