Followed '97 Sequoia Grove Reserve Cab. and '01 Plumpjack Estate Cab. I think this was clearly the best but about half of the twelve of us gave it to the Plumpjack. Served with Beef Tenderloin w/Bearnaise Sauce, wild rice, Gruyere and spinach topped baked tomatos, and an onion tart. This wine stood up to those rich and copmplex flavors. IMO (and experience) this is about everything you could ask for or expect from a Cal Cab.
