Blackbird Vineyards encompasses 10 acres of mostly dry farmed vines in the Oak Knoll district of Napa. Its highly allocated wines are made by the talented Sarah Gott of Joseph Phelps and Quintessa.

Tasting Note

A saturated ruby color, the 2006 Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley Proprietary Red Wine reveals luscious aromas of wild raspberries, black cherry, cass... (more...)is, and smoky cedar. On the palate, jammy fruit flavors blend with cocoa and forest floor notes. This multi-layered wine provides great texture and volume, displaying tight-grained tannins and a medium-long finish.
