Winery Story

Founder Luis Alegre manages vineyard operations at this 25-acre estate in Spain's rapidly-modernizing Rioja region. Most of the property's w... (more...)ines are estate-produced, and all are raised using the modern temperature-controlled fermentation technique to ensure careful balance of flavor and structure. The vines are 25 years old on average, and the winery uses both French and American oak.

Tasting Note

Lovely complex notes of dehydrated fruits, including figs and dates, harmonize with fresh plum, orange-spiked créme brûlée, cocoa, cola, ... (more...)crushed flowers and caramel. The smooth finish shows more brûlée character alongside velvety tannins in this medium-bodied red that's drinking perfectly now.
