Broadmoore Estates Sangiovese - 2008
June 14, 2010
Medium on the palate, aromas of cherries leather and toasted oak and light tannins. Flavors are consistant with the aroma. Winery notes say some vanilla and other trace aromas/flavors, but I'm not getting it. I don't think it's that complex. It's comparable, really, to a young, basic Chianti. Pair this one with pork chops or your favorite brand of hard cheese and crackers. $16
