I agree with the last reveiwer 100%. Very good wine, I'd give it a quality "A" not only for its aroma and flavor but for the price, it's a bargain. I'll be adding another bottle of this to the collection sooner or later.

This get's a 5 because it's without a doubt one of the best bottles of wine you can buy for under $15--period. I tasted the 2006 when it was first bottled and thought it was a little tight. Just revisited it and was blown away. Notes of sweet tobacco, toffee and cherry. Flavors echoed on the palate, with hints of chocolate, vanilla and butterscotch. While these are all "sweet" characteristics this is not an overly jammy, fruity wine but is rather medium to full bodied with an enough acidity and well integrated tannin to give it structure. A complex, delicious wine.

The Cannonball cab continues to offer great value with the 2006 edition. Very easy drinking with soft tannins and notes of green pepper with an earthy finish.

The 2006 vintage is even better than 2005. So much chocolate, with dark berries. Picked up a couple cases and at this price, have been sharing more than enjoying them myself.
