Tasting Note

Dark ruby-red in color with clear purple-red shades. It offers warm, intense scents of dry prune, faded flowers, violet, dark cherry and oli... (more...)ve. Vigorous tannins yield to a fresh acidity and good body. Final sensations on the lasting finish give up a cherry core, almond and green fruit.

Tasted this with Alyssa and Mom when she was in town NOSE: Marinara sauces & sausage, huckleberry. PALATE: love it. bitter chocolate. was really surprised by how good this was.
