Winery Story

Settling in Chile's Colchagua Valley after his 1892 arrival from Bordeaux France, Emile Bouchon was first in the multi-generational line of... (more...) family members that would strive to make Casa Silva what it is today. In 1997 the decision was made to transition from the production of bulk wine to premium quality wines. Since then, Casa Silva has become one of the most highly awarded wineries in Chile.

Tasting Note

Intense, dar, ruby red with violet hues. On the nose, powerful, with notes of blackberry, toffee, and fudge. On the palate, soft, sweet ta... (more...)nnins, round, excellent acidic balance, very good structure with notes of black fruits and blueberries. Long finish.
