Always viewed as one of the best of the vintage, this bottle did not disappoint; wonderful rich nose of chocolate and cassis, earthen, red brick, touch of sweet lemons, mint; starts out very big in the mouth with deep flavors of ripe black fruits laced with chocolate; becomes a bit more dilute in the mid-mouth, but retains its balance and poise; more red fruits at the finish with red cherry and apple flavors mixing with a more earthen and primordial set of flavors; crystalline and pure.
