This has been an acceptable Latour for many years now, but never viewed as one of the better; it is perhaps one of the best of Médocs from this vintage; rich ripe nose with intense aromas of black fruits, smoke and chocolate; deep and rich flavors, but they lack definitions; definitely diffuse in the mouth but rich; loads of cassis; a bit tired now, and also showing the effects of drying out; moderate finish, a bit coarse at the end.
