An unusual wine to say the least, as one does not get to taste these wines with age on them; darker color of course, but rich nose with strong butterscotch and honeyed fruit aromas, sugary, caramel-laced aromas; sweet in the mouth, but the wine is flat and seems to skitter along the surface of the palate; there are a fair amount of lemon-flavored elements in the wine, but they are now somewhat tired and struggling to maintain freshness; still all-in-all a good wine for its age.
