They revived the estate with technological advancements, two state-of-the-art wineries and a tripling of the vineyard size. The result: wines of exceptional quality and taste.

Tasting Note

The tiny vineyard that makes up Clos Nardian nestles next to the Mairie in the leafy village of Saint Aubin de Branne, just south of Saint E... (more...)milion.Fully south facing and situated along a ledge of clay over a sub-soil of limestone, the vineyard consists of 40 percent each of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. These 50-year-old vines are planted in the classic Saint Emilion style of one and a half meter rows. The addition of 20 percent of 70-year-old Muscadelle to the wine provides aroma. Only ten barrels produced each year.
