Winery Story

Cathy Corison, named 2011 Winemaker of the Year by the San Francisco Chronicle, began making wine in tha Napa Valley nearly four decades ago... (more...). Corison is a small, family-owned winery that specializes in Napa Valley benchland Cabernet Sauvingon that is both powerful and elegant, graces the table and enjoys a long, distinguished life. Visitors experience a behind the ropes tour of a "working winery". Visits include a vineyard tour and a view into production and winemaking activiites throughout the year.

The red fruit notes include plum, blackberry and black cherry with hints of chocolate and a dash of spice for interest. A beautiful floral perfume of violets and an unmistakable mineral quality, often called “Rutherford dust,” complete the package.
