The grapes produced on the vineyard are hand-harvested and carefully selected, and the wines reflect the terroir characteristics of the region. Located on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand, Hawke's Bay is traditionally a leading wine-producing area with a record of making high-quality for over one hundred years. The region's five rivers and protective mountain range to the west provide a consistent water supply and climate. Stony, free-draining soils and sunny climate result in rich fruit for full-bodied, Bordeaux-style wines.

Both my husband and i very much liked this wine. It was fruity, but not too fruity. Very refreshing, and great with fish.....it was quite full...We really liked it.
