Delma's Blanquette de Limoux Chardonnay - 2005
January 19, 2012
- appearance: clear with pale intensity and a lemon color.
- nose: clean with medium intensity, with aromas of apples for days, hay, melon, and a barnyard-y type of smell.
- palate: light sweetness, with average acidity. the body is high, with flavors of kiwi, pineapple, grapefuit, and apricot. the length is below average.
- overall: average sparkling wine. the fruit is solid, and the flavors are complex. the length is not bad. this is not a sparkling wine that would wow many, but it's a solid sparkler that for the price, is great.
- i give it an 88.
