Winery Story

Fisher Vineyards was founded in 1973, when Fred and Juelle Fisher purchased 100 acres in the Mayacamas Mountains on the western slope of Spr... (more...)ing Mountain. Today, two of their three children, Robert and Whitney, join them at the winery. Whitney recently succeeded Mia Klein as winemaker.

Tasting Note

RCF, named for Robert C. Fisher, is a "right bank" Merlot-based Bordeaux blend. On the nose are slightly savory aromas along with rich, ripe... (more...) cherry notes. The palate is an explosion of flavors of rich Bing Cherries, blackberry, licorice, and a slightly herbal tone. The body is massive with smooth velvety tannins. This is a wine to drink now, but will only improve with age.
