Fonseca Vintage Port is considered the "Pétrus" of Port. The renowned house, which produced its first Vintage Port in 1847, is considered t... (more...)oday to be one of the classic vintage ports of the nineteenth century. Fonseca vintage ports are renowned for their great fruit richness and voluptuousness, and, while powerful and mouthfilling, for their breed and balance. In the context of each vintage, they combine the tannic dimension and "grip" which give great port its longevity with the structure and complexity that are Fonseca's hallmark.
Fonseca Siroco White Port - N.V.
When we tried this new gin and tonic cocktail, I was amazed at the similarities in flavor. Unfortunately, I'm not really a gin drinker so it wasn't my kind of drink.I can see the white port being good in its own right, however.
I tried this in the "Siroco and Tonic" cocktail and will happily drink this at any hot summertime event! The ingredients includes 1 part Fonseca Siroco White Port, 1 part tonic water, and ice cubes. So refreshing!
Yummy! The new gin and tonic is the white dry port and tonic-- justsqueeze in a bit of fresh lime juice. My new favorite cocktail!
