Frescobaldi Sangiovese - 2005

I've had this luscious Chianti two times now, and both times it was great. Understated red fruit on the nose, with a hint of spice and ripeness. A smooth, medium weight in the mouth, with very nice structure, and a medium, tasty finish. I have had it with tagliatelle and a fusilli, both with a light tomato sauce complimented nicely. Would also pair with a nice pork roast with rosemary.
