Winery Story

Their vineyard managers use a variety of farming techniques to accomplish just that. They choose vineyards based on the specific clones, site location and flavor profiles historically produced from them. They consistently spend time within the rows, paying attention to the subtleties of the vines, the architecture of the clusters, the diurnal fluctuation of the leaves, and the texture and flavor development of the seeds as they macerate them in their mouths.

Tasting Note

Beautifully oaked and full of tightly coiled fruit strength, the nose of this clearly very youthful Pinot offers scents of sweet red and dar... (more...)k cherries, panetone, subtle smoky notes, vanilla and hints of white pepper in a focused and intriguing mix. It is tighter on the palate, but just as focused, with Bing cherry, panetone and lots of tobacconist shop spice.
