Hermitage Hermitage “Marquise de la Tourette” Delas - 1990
* Expert NoteDecember 19, 2005
Now fully mature, the wine is loaded with aromas of leather, tar, cassis, rocks, and smoke, deep and rich nose, quite powerful; same in the mouth, evidencing lots of concentrated fruit, mostly black cherry, but also plum and tobacco flavors; black licorice and deep but now softened tannins maintain a nice balance with citrus acidity that has depth without sharpness; good now and I suspect for several years to come.
