Hermitage Hermitage Chave - 2001
* Expert NoteDecember 19, 2005
Much too early to be drinking this wine, the nose is light and faint, and totally closed down, there are emerging aromas of green herbs, paraffin, soapstone, and light lemony fruit; sweet and smooth in the mouth, put this wine on botox; there are no defined lines yet and the face of this wine is smooth and almost expressionless; more time in the glass begins to bring out the sweetness and lemony flavors, good spices, lemon peel; the texture of this wine shows the presence of lots of glycerol with hints of licorice, signaling very good things ahead, but not yet. (16 now but headed higher)
