A big wine that should only be had with a strong meal to stand up to it. A little too strong and dry for us.

Fruit forward without being jammy. Beautiful fruity nose with nice balance...perhaps a little hot. Nice white and black pepper.

We drank this after a marathon, so my thoughts are not terribly coherent. It was hot and jammy and really a nice bottle for the price. It was perfect with a Zachary's pizza.

It's a wet wine. Starts with a fruity finish, but finishes peppery (too much bite for me but Greg likes its finish). Strong aroma. Doesn't seem complex

Not as buttery as zins usually are, but it has a nice smooth finish. Nice to sip with appetizers or something light.

Bold and strong. Could not decipher what the under tones were. A bit heavy for me. Jeff loved it.

Strong, earthy zinfandel; too acidic for a starter or main course but a nice complement to cheese or dessert: we tried it with Irish cheddar but it would do equally will with strong cheeses like stilton; excellent with Toblerone.

wine wasn't spoiled, but had flavor of unripe fruit. possibly tannin overload, which I wasn't expecting and there was to dusty, leathery, tobacco flavors that usually complement a tannic experience. Would not recommend.
