This cabernet was aged 16 months in new American oak, and is a solid value in California cabernet for $26 a bottle (at the winery, which I assume is similar around the country). Initially I got aromas of all spice. It's smooth and medium to full-bodied with bright cherry fruit and hints of tobacco.
