IN ADDITION TO THE WINES PRODUCED FROM THEIR PRESTIGIOUS VINEYARDS, the Barons de Rothschild have for many years created a range of wines which are easier to drink on a daily basis. They were called the « Réserves des Barons », as at the beginning they were destined for close friends and family. To perpetuate the essence of these Réserves, the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) decided to make them available in four of the most important Bordeaux appellations: Bordeaux, Bordeaux dry white, Médoc and Pauillac. By creating this « COLLECTION », DBR (Lafite) has demonstrated its determination to offer real classic Bordeaux wines for immediate pleasure.

Tasting Note

Color: Deep, crystal-clear ruby hue. Nose: Dense and compact. After aeration, nice notes of toast (caramel and coffee) and spices (black pep... (more...)per) are released. Palate: A frank attack that opens out onto tight tannins with a typical robust structure of the Medoc. The finish is long and spicy. A Medoc that will keep well and improve with age.
