Mischief and Mayhem Pinot Noir - 2006

Mischief and Mayhem Pinot Noir

Tasting Note

Excellent, soft mouth feel, nicely integrated supple tannins, smooth and full with cherry pie, plum and vanilla notes, all nicaly balanced w... (more...)ith a subtle acidic structure. Lovely even grip and balance leads into a dry, well rounded and full finish.

Relatively full bodied for a red Burgundy with earthy characteristics, which are on the opposite end of the spectrum for my own palate.

A lovely, rich, red cherry nose (reminiscent of an Oregon Pinot). While this wine offers some nice red cherry fruit flavors up front, I found the finish a too tart for my taste.

A super austere Pinot. Ultra lean, burnt cherry, fruitless dried cranberry character. Not as breathy as I'd hoped.
