Phipps Family Cellars (PFC) is a boutique winery operation located in Napa Valley, California. They produce ultra-premium wines from some of... (more...) the finest vineyards in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. PFC was founded in 2004 with the simple belief that, through high-quality and consistency in our wines, they can achieve a cult status among those individuals who have had the chance to appreciate their wines first-hand. With the addition of Winemaker Jeff Fontanella in 2006, Phipps Family Cellars is boldly carving out its place in California's ultra-premium wine industry.

Tasting Note

In the mouth, get ready for an explosion of raspberry & blackberry preserves,cassis and black-skinned Japanese plums in addition to notes of... (more...) baker's chocolate and pie spice. All this leads to an exquisite velvety finish that is further highlighted by sweet, lingerings tannins.
