The Six Masters are a team of cohorts united by their love of Australia's Hunter Valley and fine red wine production. They've come together to produce a single wine that showcases their unique styles and personalities, and are having a ton of fun while doing it. Extremely limited, these wines are only just now coming onto the market.
Tasting Note
A classy red, this Shiraz offers up aromas and flavors of toasty oak and caramel, along with elegant notes of blueberries, blackberries and dark plums. Extraordinarily smooth for an Australian Shiraz, it gracefully marries its robust tannic structure and full body with polished fruit flavors and a lovely rich finish. This wine will reward cellaring for three or more years but also offers plenty of charms now, especially with a little decanting for aeration.
