Winery Story

Spring Mountain Vineyard is an 945-acre estate on the eastern slopes of Spring Mountain. Over 225 acres of the estate are planted to vine, representing 135 distinct hillside vineyard blocks with many soil types, exposures, and microclimates. Originally four individual 19th century Napa Valley vineyards, Miravalle, Alba, Chevalier and La Perla are now one vineyard producing estate-bottled wines. Growing primarily Bordeaux grape varieties, the vineyard yields distinctive mountain wines that consistently display concentration, elegance and longevity.

Tasting Note

A delightful combination of bright raspberry-cherry fruit intermingled with aromas of ginger, cola and violets. The body is full with tannins that are plush and chewy, but still well structured and youthful, giving the wine vibrancy and life. Spring Mountain Pinot Noir is a gorgeous expression of both the variety and the Spring Mountain terroir; pure, supple, sweet and lush.
