Winery Story

Staete Landt Vineyard is a family owned boutique wine company situated on the renowned riverbed soils in the Rapaura region in Marlborough. All wines are grown and produced from the 52-acre single vineyard. The vineyard is designed in various smaller blocks with different combinations of rootstock and clones per variety. This results in complex wines with elegance and finesse that truly express the unique terroir of their land.

Tasting Note

A complex and intensely aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is perfumed with aromas of passion fruit and gooseberries. On the palate, the wine is full bodied with real concentration of flavor and aroma, a passion fruit character is dominant, but this is backed by subtle mineral and spicy, dry hay characters with creamy, almost nutty complexity and a crisp ripe attractive acidity.
