Tasting Note

These weather conditions promote the development of intense flavors. The grapes were picked when the berries were golden, translucent and very tasty. The grapes were pressed whole cluster in a bladder press to achieve a very gentle and delicate pressing. During fermentation 4 different yeast strains were used to create different flavor profiles to add complexity once the lots were blended.The nose is filled with Meyer lemon, pear, caramel, pineapple, apricot and a light floral aroma. On the mouth, the entry is smooth and silky followed by a rich, layered mid-palate. Interlaced aromas of lemon, pineapple and apricot run through the wine, followed by a mineral finish.
