In 2001, Sullivan Vineyards began collaborating with their current winemaker, Philippe Langner. Trained by two of Bordeaux's most respected ... (more...)winemakers, Michel Rolland and Jacques Boissenot, Mr. Langner has brought extensive knowledge of both viticulture and winemaking operations. Mr. Langner, Sean Sullivan and other Sullivan family members enjoy collaborating in making Sullivan's world-class wines. The family enthusiastically looks forward to continuing this collaboration

Tasting Note

The wonderful warm blackberry aromas reflect the vintage, at least for the grapes that escaped desiccation. It’s a sterling effort, really... (more...), which left this wine tasting delicious with excellent balance. There’s the telltale Rutherford fine-grained tannins, which make the wine elegant and age-worthy for the next dozen years or so.
