Tarras Vineyards Pinot Noir - 2007
April 16, 2009
I prefer this Pinot to "The Canyon". I found it to have a more complex palate with subtle oak, cherry and strawberry flavors along with a little more backbone (tannic structure).

A light, somewhat tart, Central Otago Pinot. Burnt cherry nose, lean, mean, Pinot machine. I'm personally partial the Canyon by Tarras Vineyards which is more velvety/lush- but a good reflection of Central Otago.
