A very approachable wine with loads of personality. the nose greets you with cherry, raspberry jello, tiramisu and tobacco leaf. Entry evokes the tartness of homemade currant jelly or a mixed fruit pie. At current price point, it'll make a fine companion the next time you curl up to the poetry of Roberto Bolano and nosh on a quick lunch from Chipotle. Or as I call it, Tuesday.
