Watershed is responsible for the largest initial planting of vines in the emerging Western Australia region. Increasingly known around the w... (more...)orld for its Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling and Chardonnay, this region is one of the coolest wine growing regions in Australia. Watershed owns 280 acres of vines in what's known as the "dress circle" of the Margaret River wineries — the very middle. The site was selected after extensive testing determined that its soils had the best capacity to produce premium quality wine.

Tasting Note

The palate begins with sweet raspberry and cherry flavors followed by rich chocolate tones that add weight to the palate. The wine's fruitin... (more...)ess is balanced by a fine tannin structure that contributes to a lengthy palate. Raspberry, coffee, and chocolate tones define the finish.
