Folle Blanche
This thin, dry yet tartly acidic white wine grape comes from Cognac and Armagnac in France and is now mostly grown in the Loire Valley. Because Folle Blanche, or Gros Plant easily succumbs to phylloxera damage, the grape has largely been replaced with Baco Blanc and Baco Noir, hybrids with origins in the Folle Blanche itself.
