Mourvèdre
Mourvèdre is a variety of red wine grape grown around the world, including in France, Australia , and the United States . It produces tannic wines that can be high in alcohol, and is most commonly found in Rhône style blends. When blended with Grenache, it can give a wine structure and soften it. Depending on the region, it can have an earthy flavor with red fruit undertones.
