Boisterous and overcooked, with heavily roasted aromas and flavors. Not a polished, prime-time wine. 1 Note

Bright and fruity, but low in acid and a touch funky, especially as it warms and opens. While chilled it'll show good raspberry and cherry aromas and flavors, but warming reveals cough syrup and some horsehide. Made from Malbec and Merlot. 1 Note

Light in color, with fresh yet slightly perfumed aromas. Sweet yet kind of bland, with a candied finish. Very sugary, with a lot of residual sweetness. A lot like White Zin. 1 Note

Reddish in color, which announces that it’s Malbec. The nose is sizable but fresh, with riper, sweeter aromas. A bit more zesty in the mouth than you might expect, with an expansive, almost Beaujolais-like finish. Well balanced; a good pink wine. Imported by Tastings Import Company. 1 Note

Citrusy but also salinic, with mildly tart and lean lime and orange flavors. There’s a touch of canned fruit character to the feel, with grapefruit on the finish. Juicy in the middle but limited. 1 Note

Adequate on the nose, with staid berry aromas. The palate is narrow and tart, with cherry flavors and edgy heat. And the finish doesn’t really change the scene much. Too snappy and short on personality; a step down from previous vintages. 1 Note
