This one's got it all. Fullness, richness, complexity, with a good, crisp acidity to hold it all together. It's got the lushness reminiscent of an oaked California Chardonnay, with the restaint of a very good Alsatian. The flavor goes through two or three different phases on the tongue. A lovely wine. 15 Notes

Really delicious St. Emilion Bordeaux. Lean, elegant, with robust "staying power." A go-to for my personal consumption 15 Notes

A super elegant Super Tuscan by the iconic winemaker of Saissicaia, made in Sardinia. Although half the price of Saissicaia, Barrua is by no means half the quality. An earthy yet elegant Italian red. A perfect gift for the Italian wine lover and serious wine enthusiasts alike. 5 Notes

Drinking very nicely now, with sweet ripe fruits and mellow tannins. About as good as a Napa cab gets, for me. 1 Note
