An outstanding Malbec from a legend in Argentine wine-making. Nicolas Catena was cited as Decanter Magazine's 2009 Man of the Year. The wine itself was rated #69 out of the top 100 wines of the year by Wine Spectator. Charged with a full-bodied and long lasting finish, Catena's nose and taste have strong black fruit, with a bit of oak and maybe a hint of spice. It is a brilliant wine by itself, or with your favorite cut of beef. AND it's only $15-$20!!! Don't miss this wine, or the vintage. Highly recommended. 1 Note

This Reserve is really a terrific, luscious, and fruit forward Malbec typical of Mendoza, Argentina. I especially loved the pairing with my steak. Great dark fruit, velvety tannins, and a great value at $13. Highly recommended.
