AA treated us to this delicious wine on his birthday--Muchas Gracias Senor. Succulent red cherry and rich oak flavors. Bright acidity and firm tannins. Wonderfully long finish. Bravo! 2 Notes

I highly recommend this Brunello, which can be found online for under $40, although the release price was in the $70s. It's dark crimson in color and notes of cherry on the nose. Velvet smooth with layers of complexity, it has just the right amount of tannins. Blackberry notes with a long lasting finish. 1 Note
