This was one of my favorite "big time" cabernets from the Wine Experience. A gorgeous well balanced wine. Full of black cherry and plum with some vanilla notes on the finish.The grapes have good company, grown next to Grace Family and Vineyard 29, and the winemaker is ok too--Heidi Barrett. All this added up to being the #4 WS wine of 2010.

This wine was made from hillside fruit, and you can tell from the ripe and dark berry fruit . Almost port-like, or perhaps like a nice Amarone. You wouldn't confuse this cabernet Bordeaux. Was the #5 WS wine of 2010.
