I got this for $8 or so at the local liquor store. I like it. Rich flavors like blackberry. I'm going to get some more. 1 Note

At $4 a bottle, this is a decent cab. A bit fruity, a little bold, mild finish. 1 Note

Some people believe the higher the price the better the quality. In various taste tests there have cheap wines in a cup marked $20 and people all of the sudden think "wow, what a great wine". For those of us on a budget we know the best of the best of the cheapest wines around. For example, as a recent graduate of University my funds were not stable but when I did have spare cash my weekends were filled of cheap wines. The most popular of the cheap wines in my areais Oakleaf sold at any GIant Eagle or Walmart. Most recently Aldi's started selling wine thatonly cost about .30 cents more than Oakleaf and is worth every penny. Winking Owl has a smooth, subtle taste of the fruits and oak. While Oakleaf you get more of the alcohol taste rather than the fruit, spice, etc. So whether you are on a budget or not, give Winking Owl a try. You might surprise yourself and find the cheaper wines can satisfy as much as a higher priced quality wine.
