This was my France choice for the 80 Sip Challenge kick-off.I thought this red wine merlot was very appealing,with its dark reddish-purple color,the notes are defined very well with the aroma of red ripened fruit,strong & spicy,with a long aftertaste in the pallet.I wasn't too sure about this particular wine,but found it to be suprisingly tasty.It is more on the heavy side.

Spectacular. Very lightly-colored in the glass, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this gem has exceptionally pure red fruit and is a masterpiece in balance. Take the RRV's spiced berry fruit and put a Burgundy's finish on it, and this is what you get. 1 Note
