The Hunter Valley isn’t known for its Merlot, but this offering is surprisingly mouthfilling, featuring appealing cola and black cherry notes. Hints of menthol and roasted meat creep in, but the finish is dominated by fruit—a good sign. Soft enough to drink now. 1 Note
