Airy and light, with lemongrass and pear aromas. A palate fullof apple, peach and cinnamon leads you to a textured, full finish. Has good feel and body, but never does it become rich or cumbersome. 1 Note

Starts off strong, with pleasant tangelo aromas and flavors. But somwehere along the line the flavors turn varnishy, finishing with a strong note of lacquer. 1 Note

It’s very dry and tart. Strong flavors of lemon juice are accompanied by biting acids and even some dusty tannins, but it’s a clean, zesty drink. —S.H. 1 Note

Trimbach may be famed for its superb (and expensive) Rieslings, but for a great value, this Pinot Blanc is a well-made, ripe, rounded wine, which is just now completely ready to drink. With flavors of white peaches and an impressive richness, this could be drunk as an apéritif, but could equally partner cold cuts or fish. 1 Note

A lovely wine with ripe honeyed fruit balanced by crisp acidity. It was fermented and aged in stainless steel, so what you get here is pure spicy Pinot Blanc fruit with a silky mouthfeel and a long, delicious finish. Best Buy. 1 Note

A light, dry style of Pinot Blanc, with apple, melon and mineral hints backed by citrus and wet stones that finish crisp and dry. As prices for Riesling and Pinot Gris have edged upward, Pinot Blanc has remained the bargain variety of Alsace, and this is a solid example, best served as an apéritif or with light fish dishes. 1 Note

This very ripe wine hits a rich fruit note suspended midway between spicy apple and fresh-cut pear. Alcohol is on the high side (14.5%). It’s bigger overall than many Pinot Blancs, but generous and flavorful. Drink up. 1 Note
