Although Elk Cove is primarily known for its single vineyard pinot noirs, this pinot blanc is also solid. Light and refreshing with a nice touch of citric acidity and granny smith apple. 1 Note

One of my favorite white wine producers in the world. ZH's wines are always rich and complex. Much darker than a typical Pinot Blanc, this wine looks more like a Chardonnay. It has a lush and full mouth feel with apple, pineapple, hints of white peach followed by a touch of acidity on the finish. Went perfectly with my whole branzino at Chaya in SF. In general would go nicely with heavier seafood dishes or chicken.

This was my first Pinot Blanc and wow I loved it. Very fresh flavors that paired well with my buttler lettuce salad and juicy hamburger.
