Rarely bottled on its own, Pinot Meunier is better known as a blending component for Champagne. This bottling is like a Pinot Noir in its lightly silky texture and cherry, cola and vanilla flavors. It’s very elegant, yet doesn’t quite rise to the classic status of Pinot Noir. 1 Note

I absolutely love this bubbly. Had it again last night at the major 80 Sips (www.bottlenotes.com/80sips) event....only thing I had time to taste! Such a delicious Brut rose- ripe strawberries in cream all the way. 2 Notes

Pretty golden hue with fine, lively bubbles. Made in the classic Champagne style from the three key Champers grapes and several years' bottle age sur-lie (on the yeast cells). Aromas and flavors of peach fuzz, almonds, bread crust, fresh field clover (not sure if it's the name suggesting that or what!), and white peach fruit. Very pretty, although not terrifically complex. Makes a good stand-in for California sparkling made in the Champagne style. Quite pleasant. 1 Note
