Honey, pineapple and pear on the nose are continued on the palate. The flavors are quite pretty but the overall structure of the wine tends toward watery; could use more acid and strength. Still, enjoy it chilled on a patio or in a hammock and you’ll find it an enjoyable, affordable warm-weather choice. 1 Note

It’s got a lightly pleasing streak of tea, and if you like a little lemon in your ice tea you’ll like this wine. Aromatically, this Bulgarian Riesling is quite pretty with loads of freshly pressed apples, elderflowers and Meyer lemon scents. Light bodied and dry with a racy acidity, its palate is austere but has some muted floral and honeydew flavors. 1 Note

Lovely aromas pour from the glass, a heady mix of lime, Asian pear, cucumber and apple. In the mouth some sweet honey pours over the crisp fruit, and the wine feels lush and perfectly melded, despite its youth. Residual sugar is under 2% and the alcohol just 12%. 1 Note

A new offering from the country’s largest producer of Rieslings, this fits an emerging off-dry category, with 11% alcohol and 4.7% residual sugar. It’s a slightly sweeter companion to the winery’s popular Columbia Valley bottling, with more of the honey and tea, less of the cool fruit flavors. 1 Note

Don’t be fooled by the label—this is not a dry Riesling, only drier than the winery’s regular bottling. Peach, nectarine and shale aromas turn sweet on the palate, partially balanced by a dose of lime-like acidity. It’s a bit heavy, but intensely flavorful. 1 Note
