Hot, jammy and simple, with blackberry, cherry, date and spiced rum punch flavors. 1 Note

This dark, dense, full-bodied Syrah really needs a greasy stack of ribs to work with. By itself it’s a little soft and syrupy in texture. But the flavors are fresh and complex, of cassis, white pepper and chocolate licorice. A rich tomatoey barbecue sauce will be the perfect foil. 1 Note

Cinnamon, clove, earth and blackberry flavors, plus a chalky-gravel mouthfeel, are what you’ll get on the palate; the long finish shows plenty more blackberry, plus toasty, vanilla oak. Deep cherry, nutmeg and earth aromas. Kosher for Passover. 1 Note

Boasts a flamboyant bouquet of blackberries and black pepper upon opening, then settles down into a medium-bodied wine with nice density and flavor persistence. There's no question that it's well balanced and has a lovely nose, but this is not a great wine, merely very good. 1 Note
